Sciatica
About Back Pain
At least 80% of people will suffer from back pain and/or sciatica at some point in their lives, with many of those being recurrent or chronic (long-lasting) problems.
Having back pain alone is challenging enough, especially if it involves stiffness, back spasms and difficulty moving or sleeping.
Often though, people also experience forms of sciatica alongside, which causes additional problems. These include pain down one leg, areas of numbness or pins and needles and loss of strength in the leg.
Several conditions can cause back pain and sciatica so getting to the root cause of yours is key.
Getting an accurate diagnosis is important in order to create a treatment program to successfully manage the condition and reduce pain.
